Health data: With your permission, we may read data from Apple Health or Google Health (steps, weight, heart rate, blood glucose, sleep). This data is stored securely and is never sold.

Device data: App usage analytics, crash reports, and device identifiers to improve app performance.

Track your health and weight loss progress
Send you coaching alerts and reminders you request
Process subscription payments via the App Store or Google Play
Improve app features and fix bugs

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Supabase — secure database and authentication
RevenueCat — subscription management
Withings — smart scale and health device integration (optional)
Dexcom — continuous glucose monitor integration (optional)
USDA FoodData Central — food nutrition database (no personal data shared)
Anthropic Claude AI — AI-powered food scanning and health companion

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. API keys and secrets are stored server-side and never exposed in the app.

5. Health Data

We treat health data with the highest level of care. Your health information is used only to provide the services you request within GritLeanPulse. We do not sell, rent, or share your health data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app or by emailing us.

7. Children’s Privacy

GritLeanPulse is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
